To better meet the interests and needs of our community and visitors, the Historical Society is designing a new sequence of exhibits in the John Kane House. This multi-year project began in July 2017 with the receipt of a grant from the Greater Hudson Heritage Network, which allowed us to bring in a museum consultant to assess our site's collection and tour flow.
Currently, we are redecorating our downstairs parlors, and we would like to blow up some vintage (pre-1960) photographs of Pawling, Quaker Hill, Holmes, and Whaley Lake. We have a number of old postcard images, but few photographs. If you have any photos tucked away, we would love to see them—and perhaps scan them!
